Mariachi Sirenas

Mariachi Sirenas is an all-female mariachi group from Chicago, led by its founder Ibet Herrera. The ensemble bills itself as Chicago's first all-women mariachi group and aims to celebrate and preserve the mariachi tradition in the city. Its work joins honoring Mexican heritage with celebrating women's artistry and promoting the folkloric arts of Latin America.
