Mad Tsai

Mad Tsai is the stage name of Jonathan Tsai, a pop and synth-pop singer-songwriter from Fountain Valley, California, who first found an audience on TikTok. The songs explore queerness, adolescence and self-identity from a queer, Asian-Latinx perspective. The breakthrough single "Boy Bi" (2020) was a coming-out song, and "Stacy's Brother" (2022) reimagined the Fountains of Wayne hit as a queer story.
