Los Amigos Invisibles

Los Amigos Invisibles are a Venezuelan band from Caracas, blending funk, disco, acid jazz, and Latin rhythms. Their sound folds house, salsa, and merengue into syncopated Caribbean grooves. David Byrne signed them to Luaka Bop after "A Typical and Autoctonal Venezuelan Dance Band" (1995); "Commercial" (2009) won a Latin Grammy. Live shows are explosive dance-floor celebrations.
