Lone Piñon

Lone Piñon is a New Mexican string band, or orquesta típica, founded in 2014 to revive Northern New Mexico's traditional dance music. They play fiddles, accordions, guitars, vihuela, upright bass, and bilingual vocals across polkas, valses, rancheras, and other regional styles. Albums include "Trio Nuevomexicano" (2016) and "Días Felices" (2017). Their performances emphasize dance-floor community and the living border sound of New Mexico.
