Le Vent du Nord is a folk band from Quebec, founded in 2002, that performs traditional Québécois music and original songs in French. Their sound draws on Irish and Breton Celtic roots, with the hurdy-gurdy, fiddles and button accordion at the center. Albums include "Maudite Moisson" (2003), "La part du feu" (2009) and "Têtu" (2015), and the group has won two Juno Awards.
