Lauren Daigle is an American contemporary Christian singer and songwriter from Lafayette, Louisiana, known for her smoky alto voice. Her music blends gospel, pop and soul influences rooted in the Cajun and zydeco sounds of her upbringing. How Can It Be (2015) topped the Billboard Christian Albums chart and went platinum, while Look Up Child (2018) produced the record-breaking hit You Say. Arena and theater performances showcase the powerhouse vocals that helped her cross from worship stages to mainstream charts.
