Kylesa is a sludge metal band from Savannah, Georgia, formed in 2001 and led by guitarists and singers Phillip Cope and Laura Pleasants. Their music combines heavy, drop-tuned riffs with experimentalism and psychedelic rock, and from 2006 to 2016 they used two drummers. Albums include "Static Tensions" (2009), "Spiral Shadow" (2010) and "Exhausting Fire" (2015), and the band reunited in 2024 after a long hiatus.
