Kotoko Brass is a New England band founded in 2017 by brothers Ben and Brian Paulding, fusing Central Ghanaian drumming with Caribbean grooves and New Orleans horns. The Boston Globe has called their sound "propulsive, infectious party music" rooted in Asante rhythm and dance. They released "The Years of the Quiet Sun" in 2023. Live shows center master percussionists Attah Poku and Kwame Ofori driving dance-floor movement.
