King Serpent is a riff rock duo from Ohio, formed in 2017 by a guitarist and singer and a bassist. The band combines classic riff rock guitar and popping bass with heavy hip hop drums, played from backing tracks rather than by a third member. Its songs range from dark swamp rock to pop, with vocals that move from soft and intimate to guttural and eerie.
