KATIEE is the synth pop project of H.K. Eastburn, known for her earlier work in the band Young People. Her songs set layered synths and shifting percussion to dance floor beats, drawing on personal loss, a toxic marriage and rebirth while keeping the mood joyous. Eastburn wrote, recorded and produced the eight-song album "Resonant Objects" herself, with occasional help from friends.
