Katalyst in Los Angeles

Katalyst is a nine-piece experimental jazz collective from Inglewood, California, founded by drummer, composer and producer Greg Paul. Their instrumental music grew from Sunday jam sessions in Inglewood and mixes contemporary jazz with Los Angeles club energy. They released the debut album "Nine Lives" in 2020, with material written across the nine members. Residency nights emphasize the full ensemble sound on horn, keys and rhythm sections.
