JP Harris is an American country singer and songwriter based in Nashville, rooted in outlaw honky-tonk and Appalachian old-time. He pairs clawhammer banjo and electric guitar with a voice steeped in the Carter Family-era songbook. "Don't You Marry No Railroad Man" (2021), with Chance McCoy, and "JP Harris is a Trash Fire" (2024) on Bloodshot Records anchor his discography. Live sets as Dreadful Wind and Rain foreground heirloom folk songs with raw, analog intensity.
