Josh Garrels is an American singer-songwriter from South Bend, Indiana, born in 1980. His records blend pastoral folk, hip-hop cadences, and orchestral color with introspective, faith-informed lyrics. Love & War & The Sea in Between (2011) was named Album of the Year by Christianity Today; Home (2015) reached the Billboard 200. Live shows are intimate, voice-led sets built on storytelling and gospel-tinged folk.
