Johnsmith is a Wisconsin folk singer-songwriter from Trempealeau County in the Driftless region. His songs blend Americana and acoustic folk, often treating family, nature, and everyday resilience with an optimistic tone. A Kerrville New Folk winner, he served as a Nashville staff songwriter and released multiple solo albums including "Gingko" (2018). His live work spans house concerts, festivals, and Ireland music tours he leads through Inishfree.
