John Paul White

John Paul White is an American singer-songwriter from Florence, Alabama, near the Muscle Shoals recording scene. His songs blend folk, country, and orchestrated Nashville pop, often treating love, unraveling relationships, and memory. He was half of The Civil Wars, which won Grammy Awards before disbanding in 2012, and later released solo albums including "Beulah" (2016) and "The Hurting Kind" (2019).
