John Fohl is a Grammy-winning guitarist, singer, and songwriter based in New Orleans. His blues-inflected originals explore everyday life with precision, carried by guitar work rooted in funk and R&B. He was an early member of Cherry Poppin' Daddies and played with Dr. John in the Lower 911 band, including on the album "Tribal" (2010). Live he appears solo, with his own band, and alongside players such as Johnny Sansone.
