JD Simo is an American guitarist, singer, and producer from Chicago, now based in Nashville, known for roots-driven blues-rock with a psychedelic edge. His sound fuses Hill Country blues, deep grooves, fiery improvisation, and raw vocals. He led the band SIMO before solo albums including "Mind Control" (2021), and has worked with Jack White and on Baz Luhrmann's Elvis soundtrack. His duo sets with drummer Adam Abrashoff are built on unrelenting, improvised energy.
