JD Beck is an American drummer from the Dallas area, best known as half of the jazz duo DOMi & JD BECK with French keyboardist Domi Louna. Their music folds instrumental hip hop and drum and bass into jazz played at extreme tempos. Debut album "Not Tight" (2022), on Blue Note, drew Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Contemporary Instrumental Album. "Who Asked?" followed in 2026.
