Jason Scheff
rockpop
Jason Scheff is an American bassist and singer from San Diego who fronted Chicago from 1985 to 2016, replacing Peter Cetera. He sings rock and blues-leaning pop with the brass-heavy Chicago sound on arena-scale hits. He joined at 23 and became the band's longest-serving bassist-vocalist, first appearing on "Chicago 18" (1986). Live, he delivers Chicago favorites on classic-rock bills alongside fellow legacy acts.
