Jadakiss is an American rapper from Yonkers, New York, and a founding member of the hip-hop trio the Lox with Styles P and Sheek Louch. Known for his gravelly voice and hard-edged East Coast lyricism, he helped shape 1990s Bad Boy and Ruff Ryders-era hip-hop. The Lox released "Money, Power & Respect" in 1998, and his solo run includes "Kiss tha Game Goodbye" (2001) and the Grammy-nominated single "Why?". His shows draw on classic anthems built for arena crowds.
