Iron & Wine is the recording name of American singer-songwriter Sam Beam, born in Chapin, South Carolina. His folk and indie folk songs are built on acoustic guitar, banjo and slide guitar. Since the Sub Pop debut "The Creek Drank the Cradle" (2002) he has released albums such as "Our Endless Numbered Days" (2004) and "Light Verse" (2024), and his "Such Great Heights" cover reached the "Garden State" soundtrack.
