Interpol in Atlanta

Interpol is an American rock band from Manhattan, New York, formed in 1997 and associated with the 2000s post-punk revival. Their sound pairs staccato bass and harmonized guitar with atmospheric restraint, drawing on post-punk and new wave influences. "Turn on the Bright Lights" (2002) and "Antics" (2004) defined their early era; their eighth album, "This Mirror Weighs a Ton" (2026), expands their palette with synths, strings, and percussion. Their live shows are known for moody, tightly controlled performances honed over decades on stage.
