Hovvdy is an American indie duo from Austin, Texas, formed in 2014 by Charlie Martin and Will Taylor. Their sound moves from understated slowcore to twangy indie rock, 2000s-leaning pop country and acoustic ballads with strong pop sensibilities. Albums include "True Love" (2021) and the self-titled "Hovvdy" (2024), which grapples with loss and personal change.
