honestav is the stage name of Avrey Freeman, an American singer and songwriter from Pierce City, Missouri. His music mixes alternative and indie rock with hip-hop, and the lyrics draw on family trauma, addiction and grief. He broke through with the 2024 song "I'd Rather Overdose", which spread on TikTok, and followed it with the EP "hara-kiri" (2024) and the album "Sweet American Boy" (2026).
