Hit Like a Girl

Hit Like a Girl is a Philadelphia emo and indie rock band led by songwriter Nicolle Maroulis, active since 2017. The songs turn queer heartache, yearning and loss into intimate but catchy emo. Albums include "You Make Sense" (2017), "Heart Racer" (2021) and "Burning at Both Ends" (2026) on Cryptid Records. Maroulis also founded No More Dysphoria, a non-profit that funds transgender transition costs.
