Henry Carpender Quartet

Henry Carpender Quartet is the jazz group of Henry Carpender, a Chicago-based trombonist, composer and educator. His playing and writing draw on classical training, jazz and the rock music he played as a child, mostly alongside his father John Carpender. He played his first gig at 13 with the local band Expo '76 and has since shared stages with Billy Harper, Robbie Fulks, NRBQ and the Canadian Brass.
