Hazlett is the recording name of Mitchell Hazlett Lewis, an Australian singer-songwriter from Brisbane who is based in Sweden. He writes introspective indie folk built on stripped-back ballads and acoustic textures, with lyrics about loneliness and longing. After early EPs and a triple j Unearthed feature in 2019, he released the albums "Bloom Mountain" (2023) and "last night you said you missed me" (2025).
