Harry Allen in Denver

Harry Allen is an American jazz tenor saxophonist and a leading swing-tenor voice, often compared to Scott Hamilton. His tone draws on Coleman Hawkins, Ben Webster, and Stan Getz, spanning mainstream jazz and bossa nova. He has 70+ leader albums including "Viva! Bossa Nova" and "Something About Jobim", and was inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame in 2024. He frequently joins Trio da Paz for Jobim and Getz programs, including Dizzys Club summer runs.
