Haircut 100
jazz funknew wave
Haircut 100 are a British pop band formed in Beckenham, south London, in 1980 around singer and guitarist Nick Heyward. Their music blends new wave and new pop with jazz funk and Brit funk. The 1982 debut ”Pelican West” reached number two in the UK and yielded the top ten singles ”Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)”, ”Love Plus One” and ”Fantastic Day”.
