Gunhild Carling

Gunhild Carling is a Swedish jazz singer, multi-instrumentalist, and bandleader born in Gothenburg. She swings through vintage jazz standards on trumpet, trombone, harmonica, harp, flute, recorder, oboe, and even jazz bagpipes, often weaving tap dance and juggling into one song. She rose to national fame after her 2010 performance on Allsång på Skansen and leads the Carling Big Band drawn from her musical family. Her live shows are vaudeville-style spectacles capped by her trademark finale of playing three trumpets at once.
