Grouper

Grouper is the solo project of Pacific Northwest musician Liz Harris, an American artist known for ambient, dream-pop, and folk-inflected music. Her voice, guitar, and tape-hazed textures map solitude, love, and coastal landscapes into songs that feel intimate and vast at once. She broke through with "Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill" (2008) and later released twelve albums including "Shade" (2021), songs gathered over fifteen years. Live, her performances unfold as hushed, immersive sets where whispered vocals and drifting guitar echo the misty moods of the North Coast.
