Groove Portal is a ten-piece band from the San Francisco Bay Area that pays tribute to soul, funk and R&B legends such as Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Earth, Wind & Fire and Sly and the Family Stone. Its sound rests on a hot horn section and a deep, tight rhythm section aimed squarely at the dance floor.
