Gong Gong Gong is an experimental rock duo formed in Beijing in 2015 by Hong Kong guitarist and singer Tom Ng and Montreal-born bassist Joshua Frank. With only guitar and bass and no drums, the pair build hypnotic, repetitive grooves, and Ng sings in Cantonese. Their debut album "Phantom Rhythm" (2019) was followed by "Mongkok Duel" (2023), an imagined soundtrack for a lost kung-fu film.
