Geordie Greep is an English musician from Walthamstow, London, known as the former frontman and lead guitarist of black midi. His music draws on experimental rock, math rock, jazz fusion and progressive rock, sung in a distinctive warped croon. After black midi went on hiatus in 2024, Greep released the solo debut "The New Sound" (2024) on Rough Trade Records, an album about desperation and self-deception.
