Garrison Starr is an American singer-songwriter from Hernando, Mississippi. Her voice marries pop smarts and Americana grit, with songs shaped by her Evangelical upbringing and recovery. Geffen released her major-label debut, "Eighteen Over Me" (1997), featuring "Superhero"; "Girl I Used to Be" followed in 2021. She has toured with Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Jason Isbell, and the Indigo Girls.
