Foy Vance is a Northern Irish singer and songwriter from Bangor, County Down. His songs pull folk, soul and Southern blues together behind a gritty voice, dwelling on grief, fatherhood and hard-won acceptance. He self-released his debut "Hope" in 2007 and won the inaugural Northern Ireland Music Prize for "Joy of Nothing" (2013). He has toured as a support act for Ed Sheeran and Elton John.
