Forbidden are a Bay Area thrash metal band formed in 1985, founded by guitarist Craig Locicero. Their sound pairs scything riffs and thunderous drums with progressive melodies and technical lead guitar. Early albums include "Forbidden Evil" (1988) and "Twisted Into Form" (1990), followed by "Omega Wave" (2010). Reunion shows led by Locicero feature Norman Skinner on vocals and deliver fierce, uncompromising progressive thrash.
