Fiction Plane is an English rock band from London, formed in 1999 and fronted by singer and bassist Joe Sumner. Its sound mixes alternative rock, post-grunge and indie rock, and Sumner has said Nirvana's "Nevermind" first inspired him to write songs. Albums include "Everything Will Never Be OK" (2003) and "Left Side of the Brain" (2007), and the band opened The Police Reunion Tour in 2007.
