Family Obligation

Family Obligation is a power-pop band from San Jose, California, led by singer-songwriter Christie Dierk with Kevin Ryan, Kyle Lester, and Micah Turney. Their songs pair catchy pop melodies with angst, glitter, and distortion in a nostalgic 90s power-pop style touched by punk and garage rock. They released the album "Prior Commitments" (2025).
