Factual Brains is a Cleveland experimental rock duo of Alec Schumann and Will Hooper, formed from Schumann's earlier solo project Actual Trains. Their recordings fold psychedelic soundscapes with noise rock, post-rock, chiptune, and frenetic drums. Albums include "Scooter" (2020) and "Insectoid" (2024). Grog Shop bills and local tours trade high-energy garage rock for Halloween crowds and crate-digging faithful.
