FACS is a Chicago art-rock trio formed in January 2017 by Brian Case, Jonathan Van Herik, and Noah Leger after Disappears went on hiatus. Their songs use stark rhythms, open space, and minimal arrangements in a dubby, tense modern rock style. The lineup reunites three core Disappears players, with releases including Wish Defense. Live sets emphasize clipped grooves and dynamic restraint over stacked production.
