Everette Harp is an American jazz saxophonist from Houston known for R&B-inflected smooth jazz. His playing blends gospel, soul, and funk into lyrical, melody-driven lines. Albums on Blue Note and Capitol include a Marvin Gaye tribute; trio Jazz Funk Soul with Jeff Lorber and Chuck Loeb earned a Grammy nomination. Live bills frequently unite him with Lorber and Paul Jackson Jr. in jazz-funk-soul sets.
