Everclear

rockpop

Everclear is an alternative rock band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 1992 around founder, vocalist and guitarist Art Alexakis. The sound pairs power pop hooks with post-grunge guitars. Breakthrough came with "Sparkle and Fade" (1995) and "So Much for the Afterglow" (1997), home to the hits "Santa Monica" and "Father of Mine". Concerts lean on the 1990s hits, still fronted by Alexakis.
