Elke Kalupar

Elke Kalupar is a performer, dancer, and teacher specializing in partnering while pursuing an MFA in Dance at the University of Michigan. She founded Akzeptanz movement, a school combining contemporary partnering, group dynamics, contact improvisation, and physical theatre. The practice trains dancers to build instant improvised group compositions using movement alone. Live, she collaborates in improvised music-and-dance evenings with musicians and other movers.
