Elew in New Orleans

ELEW is the stage name of Eric Lewis, an American jazz pianist from Camden, New Jersey, who crossed over into rock and pop. He calls his style "Rockjazz," instrumental piano takes on rock hits played with a physical approach that includes reaching inside the piano to pull the strings. A former sideman for Wynton Marsalis and Elvin Jones, he released "ELEW Rockjazz Vol. 1" in 2010.
