Elephant Stone

Elephant Stone is a Canadian psychedelic rock band from Montreal, led by songwriter, bassist and sitarist Rishi Dhir. The group threads Indian classical instruments such as sitar, tabla and dilruba through Western psych-pop, with Dhir producing and mixing the records at his own Sacred Sound studio. The debut album "The Seven Seas" (2009) was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize, and the EP "Le voyage de M. Lonely dans la lune" won the 2022 GAMIQ award for rock EP of the year.
