Easy Wind is a Grateful Dead tribute band rooted in Southern California that focuses on the group's 1970s catalog. Their shows recreate the jamming, twin-drummer lineup and Donna Godchaux-era vocals of classic Dead runs such as Europe '72 and Spring '77. Founding members began following the band in the 1980s after seeing Jerry Garcia live. Performances emphasize extended improvisations, Garcia and Weir guitar interplay, and setlists drawn from peak-era tours.
