Dwayne Dopsie in New Orleans

Dwayne Dopsie, born Dwayne Rubin in Lafayette, Louisiana, is a zydeco accordionist and singer who fronts the New Orleans band the Zydeco Hellraisers. His style keeps zydeco's Creole roots while drawing on blues and rock and roll. The youngest son of accordionist Rockin' Dopsie, he formed the Hellraisers in 1999 and has been nominated for Grammy awards for "Top of the Mountain" (2017).
