DragonForce are a British power metal band formed in London in 1999. They play ultra-fast dual-guitar solos over fantasy-themed lyrics and chip-tune influenced arpeggios. "Through the Fire and Flames" from Inhuman Rampage (2006) became a cultural touchstone via Guitar Hero III. Stadium and festival sets lean on precision shredding and singalong choruses at extreme tempos.
