Dom Flemons

Dom Flemons is an American folk musician known as The American Songster, drawing on a century of American roots music. He plays country, folk, blues, and old-time styles on banjo, guitar, harmonica, and traditional instruments. He co-founded the Carolina Chocolate Drops, whose "Genuine Negro Jig" won the Grammy for Best Traditional Folk Album. Solo shows pair multi-instrumental sets with storytelling in black string band traditions.
